Rayol-Canadel-Sur-Mer
The Rayol-Canadel is a charming, peaceful village where a rooted, tranquil way of life has been preserved... Created by the extension of La Môle in 1925 over an area of around 300 hectares, it became an independent municipality in 1949. It currently comprises 3 districts and stretches for around 4 km along the RD559. An exceptional location where the wooded hills of the Corniche des Maures plunge into the blue waters of the Mediterranean with a breathtaking view of the îles d'Or.

GARDENS OF THE DOMAINE DE RAYOL
A 20-hectare protected natural area, owned by the Conservatoire du Littoral, at the foot of the Massif des Maures and opposite the Iles d'Hyères, in the Var département, between Le Lavandou and Saint-Tropez. Landscape architect Gilles Clément has designed the Jardin des Méditerranées, an invitation to travel through the world's Mediterranean landscapes and landscapes with more arid or subtropical climates. To discover this garden is to feel some of the emotions experienced by a botanical explorer travelling the planet!
ORGANISED VISITS TO THE DOMAINE DU RAYOL
Guided tours are available every day of the year, and are included in the price of admission. Accessible and friendly, they give you a new perspective on gardening and the plant world.
THE PATEC / MONUMENT OF THE COMMANDOS OF AFRICA / THE NATIONAL CEMETERY

The Patec pergola and monumental staircases, the Monument of the African Commandos and the National Cemetery. The plaque commemorating Sir Henry Royce (who stayed here between 1911 and 1931).
